A Toyota truck or SUV with high miles is priced on its 4x4 system, TRD package, frame and service history, not the odometer alone. A hybrid gets a look at battery records and its in-service date. If there is a lease or loan, we tell you which lender you have and what that means before you start.

2019-2025 (5th gen), 2026- (6th gen)
Compact SUV; gas, hybrid and plug-in, hybrid-only from 2026
On a 5th gen, gas, hybrid and plug-in versions are priced apart, then the grade. The 2026 RAV4 comes only as a hybrid or plug-in hybrid.
Camry
Through 2024 (8th gen), 2025- (9th gen, hybrid only)
Midsize sedan
On an 8th gen, the V6, the hybrid and the four-cylinder are priced apart. On a 9th gen, AWD is offered on every grade, so drive type counts.
Corolla
2020- (12th gen sedan)
Compact sedan and hatchback, hybrid available
The Corolla Hybrid, first sold in the US for 2020, and the GR Corolla are priced apart from the standard car.
Tacoma
2016-2023 (3rd gen), 2024- (4th gen)
Midsize pickup
Cab, bed, 4x4 and grade lead, with TRD Off-Road, TRD Pro and the 2024-on Trailhunter at the top. On a 4th gen, the i-FORCE MAX hybrid counts.
Tundra
Through 2021 (2nd gen, V8), 2022- (3rd gen, twin-turbo V6)
Full-size pickup
The grade, from SR5 to 1794 Edition and TRD Pro, the i-FORCE MAX hybrid and the engine recall status on 2022-2024 trucks move the price.
4Runner
2010-2024 (5th gen), 2025- (6th gen)
Body-on-frame SUV
On a 5th gen, the grade, the optional third row and 4x4 are checked first. The 6th gen moved from the V6 to a turbocharged four-cylinder.
Highlander
Through 2019 (3rd gen), 2020- (4th gen)
Midsize three-row SUV, hybrid available
The Highlander Hybrid, AWD and the Limited or Platinum grade are priced apart from the L and LE.
Grand Highlander
2024- (1st gen)
Large three-row SUV; gas, hybrid and Hybrid MAX
The 362-horsepower Hybrid MAX, the regular hybrid and the turbo gas engine are priced apart.
Prius
Through 2022 (4th gen), 2023- (5th gen)
Hybrid hatchback, plug-in available
The 2023 redesign is a different car, so generation comes first, then the plug-in Prius Prime versus the regular hybrid.
Sienna
Through 2020 (3rd gen, V6), 2021- (4th gen, hybrid only)
Minivan
AWD and the grade, from LE up to Platinum, lead. On a 3rd gen, the V6 and its service history are checked.
What moves the price.
The truck behind the miles
On a Tacoma, Tundra or 4Runner, we look past the odometer at frame condition, service records and how the truck was used.
Frame and underbody
Rust on the frame or underbody is checked on every Toyota truck and body-on-frame SUV. A photo of the frame rails helps us price it right.
4x4, TRD and towing gear
Four-wheel drive, TRD packages, a locking rear differential and factory towing gear are priced in. Aftermarket lifts and tires are priced as fitted.
Hybrid battery date
Toyota hybrids from model year 2020 have a 10-year or 150,000-mile hybrid battery warranty. We note when yours went into service and any battery work.
Tundra engine recall
Certain 2022-2024 Tundras are recalled for engine machining debris. Tell us whether yours has been inspected or repaired.
Leased Toyota: check your lender first
Toyota Financial Services
Most Toyota leases are with Toyota Financial Services, while many in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina are with Southeast Toyota Finance, which is listed as turning away outside buyers. Reports say Toyota Financial Services stopped most outside payoffs on October 1, 2026, which is not officially confirmed, so you may need to buy out first. We confirm on your contract.

Southeast Toyota Finance or World Omni
If your statement says Southeast Toyota Finance or World Omni, tell us. Their lease rules differ from TFS.
Who owns a leased Toyota
On a TFS lease, Toyota Motor Credit Corporation or Toyota Lease Trust is the legal owner, so the title only moves to you after a buyout.
A list of truck mods
For a lifted or modified truck, list the lift, wheels, tires, lights and bumpers, with brand names if you have them.
On a Tacoma, Tundra or 4Runner, keep receipts for differential and transfer case fluid changes and any frame work. On a 2022-2024 Tundra, keep the engine recall paperwork, and look up the VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls.
