Ford
Cab, bed, engine and gear, counted
A Ford truck or SUV is priced on its build as much as its miles: cab, bed, engine, 4x4 and towing gear. We check those from your VIN and photos. On a lease, Ford Credit may require a buyout first, and an electric Ford lease may not allow one at all.
The models we buy most.
F-150
2015-2020 (13th gen), 2021- (14th gen); electric Lightning built 2022 until late 2025
Full-size pickup
Cab, bed, engine and 4x4 lead. The PowerBoost hybrid, the Raptor and trims from Lariat up are priced apart, and on a Lightning, the battery size and range.
Super Duty
2017-2022, 2023- (new gen)
Heavy-duty pickup
Diesel against gas, single or dual rear wheels and towing gear like a fifth-wheel prep package set the price. Work use and upfits are checked from your photos.
Ranger
2019-2023, 2024- (new gen)
Midsize pickup
On a 2024-on truck, the Raptor sits apart. On any Ranger, 4x4 and the FX4 off-road package count, and so do cab and bed length.
Maverick
2022-
Compact pickup, hybrid available
The hybrid against the turbo gas engine, AWD and the Tremor package are priced apart, then the trim from XL to Lariat.
Bronco
2021-
Off-road SUV, two- or four-door
Doors, engine, the Sasquatch package and the Raptor are priced apart. Lifts and big tires move the price either way, and the hard or soft top counts.
Bronco Sport
2021-
Compact SUV
The Badlands and the 2.0-liter turbo sit above the 1.5-liter trims. Off-road wear underneath is checked.
Explorer
2011-2019 (5th gen), 2020- (6th gen)
Three-row SUV
ST and Platinum sit above the XLT. On 2020-2022 Explorers, records of the rear axle bolt recall work count.
Escape
2020-2026 (4th gen; production ended December 2025)
Compact SUV, hybrid and plug-in available
Hybrid and plug-in versions, AWD and the 2.0-liter turbo are priced apart. Miles and service records lead on older cars.
Mustang
2015-2023 (S550), 2024- (S650)
Sports car
GT, Mach 1 and Dark Horse sit above the EcoBoost, and a manual and an unmodified car count. Convertibles are priced apart from the fastback.
Mustang Mach-E
2021-
Electric SUV
The battery, standard or extended range, AWD and the GT versions lead, then full-charge range. A leased Mach-E may need its contract checked first.
What moves the price.
Configuration
Cab, bed length, engine and four-wheel drive matter as much as miles on an F-150 or Super Duty. The VIN and the door-jamb label tell us most of it.
Towing and work gear
Factory towing packages, a bed liner and Pro Power Onboard are priced in. Clear photos of the bed, hitch and seats help, and heavy work use is fine when it is disclosed.
Modifications
Lifts, tunes and big wheels on a Bronco, Mustang or F-150 move the price either way. List them with brands.
Recall records
On a 2021-2022 F-150, Bronco or Explorer with the 2.7 or 3.0 EcoBoost, the 2024 intake valve recall check counts. On a 2020-2022 Explorer, so does the rear axle bolt fix.
Powertrain warranty left
Ford’s powertrain warranty runs 5 years or 60,000 miles, and the time left counts on a newer truck. A Ford Protect plan, if you bought one, is noted too.
Leased Ford: likely a buyout first
Ford Credit
Ford Credit appears on 2026 lists of lenders whose leases outside buyers can’t pay off, and its own pages point lessees to a Ford dealer to buy. Ford Credit also says electric vehicles may not be eligible for purchase at lease end. If you can buy out, you do that first, then sell to us. We confirm on your contract.

Paperwork and records.
Payoff from Ford Credit
Your Ford Credit account number and a payoff quote. We pay Ford Credit directly from the sale, then send you the rest.
Lease purchase at any Ford dealer
Ford Credit lets you work with any Ford dealer on a lease purchase if you can’t return to your original one.
Build and options
Photos of the door-jamb label and the window sticker show the engine, axle and packages.
Recall and repair records
Dealer paperwork for any recall work, plus receipts for big repairs like a transmission or turbo.
Keep oil change records, especially on EcoBoost engines, and proof of any recall work. Ford’s 2026 trailer module recall covers millions of trucks from 2021 on, so look up your VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls.
Questions.
Do you buy work trucks?
Can I sell my leased Ford to you?
Do you buy the Mustang Mach-E?
Do you buy the F-150 Lightning now that Ford has stopped building it?
Does a lift kit or tune lower my offer?
My Explorer had the rear axle recall. Does that matter?
