Land Rover
Trim, air suspension and warranty, checked
A Land Rover is priced on its trim and packs, the state of the air suspension and how much warranty is left. Your answers and photos show us most of that. Leases run through Land Rover Financial Group, a Chase program, and we check yours before you commit.
The models we buy most.
Range Rover
2013-2022 (L405), 2022- (L460); both were sold as 2022 models
Full-size luxury SUV
On an L460, SE, Autobiography and SV are priced apart, as are the long-wheelbase body and the V8 against the six-cylinder or plug-in hybrid. On an L405, the engine and the air suspension’s condition lead.
Range Rover Sport
2014-2022 (L494), 2023- (L461)
Midsize luxury SUV
SV and the V8 versions sit above the six-cylinder, and the plug-in hybrid is priced on its own. Dynamic Air Suspension is on every 2023-on car, so its condition is checked.
Range Rover Velar
2018-
Midsize SUV
Trim leads. On current cars, air suspension comes on the Autobiography but not the base trims, so we confirm which yours has.
Range Rover Evoque
Through 2019 (1st gen), 2020- (2nd gen)
Compact SUV
Generation first, then trim and packs. The 2020 redesign shares little with the first car, so the model year sets the starting point.
Defender 110
2020-
Off-road SUV
The engine, the X or X-Dynamic trims and the Explorer or Adventure packs are priced apart. Factory accessories like the roof rack and side-mounted gear case count.
Defender 90
2021-
Two-door off-road SUV
The short body, engine and trim lead, with the V8 at the top. Off-road wear underneath is checked from your photos.
Defender 130
2023-
Eight-seat off-road SUV
Air suspension is standard even on the base S, and the engine and trim set the rest. All eight seats and their condition are checked.
Discovery
2017- (replaced the LR4)
Seven-seat SUV
Electronic Air Suspension comes on every current trim. Trim and engine set the rest, and the third row’s condition counts.
Discovery Sport
2015-
Compact SUV
Trim, the optional third row and miles lead. Service records carry more weight once the warranty ends.
What moves the price.
Trim and packs
Autobiography, SV, off-road and towing packs are priced well apart. The window sticker settles which you have, and the VIN confirms the trim.
Air suspension health
No warning lights, a level stance and a car that rises and lowers on command support the offer. Tell us about any repair, and a short video of the car rising helps.
Warranty left
Land Rover’s new-vehicle warranty runs 4 years or 50,000 miles. Any time left, on that or an approved pre-owned warranty, counts, and so does an extended service plan.
Engine
Four-cylinder, six-cylinder, plug-in hybrid and V8 versions of the same model are priced apart. The badge on the front fender or tailgate usually shows it.
Off-road use
Underbody scrapes, wading marks and aftermarket gear on a Defender are checked from your photos. A photo of the underside helps us price it right the first time.
Leased Land Rover: it depends on your lease
Land Rover Financial Group (provided by Chase)
Land Rover leases in the US are usually with Land Rover Financial Group, a name Chase uses under license, and the account is owned by Chase. There is no current published rule on outside payoffs, so whether we can buy directly depends on your lease. If we can’t, you buy out first and then sell to us. We confirm on your contract.

Paperwork and records.
Payoff from Chase
Your Land Rover Financial Group account is held by Chase, so the payoff quote comes from Chase. We pay Chase directly from the sale.
Window sticker or spec sheet
It shows the trim, packs and options. If it’s missing, photos of the badges, wheels and seats let us match the VIN.
Retailer service records
The service history from your Land Rover retailer, plus any independent invoices. Put suspension and electrical repairs on top.
Keys and accessories
Both keys, and any tow bar, roof rack or Defender accessory pack that came with the car. Removable items left out are noted, not priced in.
Keep invoices for any air suspension, cooling or electrical repairs and the full service history from your Land Rover retailer. On a Defender used off-road, underbody repair receipts help too. Recalls for your Land Rover show by VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls.
